Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp offers just six luxury thatched suites, each with a private viewing deck and heated spa bath overlooking the riverbed. Each contemporary suite is air-conditioned with mosquito-draped beds, a full bathroom en-suite, indoor and outdoor showers. Tall French doors have been installed, giving the impression that the indoor bath is part of the outdoor shower. The chalets are private and secluded, built into the riverine vegetation and feature their own private viewing deck and spa bath overlooking the surrounding bush and riverbed.

Perfect for intimate safaris

The lodge lends itself to exclusive use by a small group such as intimate wedding parties, special birthdays and anniversaries and family reunion safaris. Little Bush Camp has been thoughtfully laid out, with its central lounge, bar and indoor/outdoor dining areas flanked by three suites on either side.

Personal game activities

Game viewing activities at Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp are conducted by experienced guides and resident trackers. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles can be enjoyed in the morning after a cup of coffee or in the evening by spotlight with a special stop for sundowners. Vehicles are permitted off-road in this reserve to get exceptionally close to animal sightings. Guided bush walks are available daily.

Range of activities

Activities such as star-gazing, bird watching and private bush breakfasts can be arranged on request. At Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp, dinners are served in the intimate outside boma area under lantern-lit trees (weather permitting) or in the dining area. In-room dining can be arranged on request. There's a refreshing pool area where you can relax and escape the midday heat.

Getting there

By air - Daily scheduled flights connect from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to the Sabi Sabi Airstrip. Daily scheduled flights also connect to Skukuza Airport from Johannesburg and Cape Town. Another option is flying to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) in Nelspruit, with a short hop to the Sabi Sabi Airstrip. KMIA receives daily/regular flights from Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Livingstone (Victoria Falls). Private air and helicopter transfers are available. Transfers from the Sabi Sabi Airstrip to the Sabi Sabi safari lodges are complimentary.

By road - An easy 500-km/five-hour drive from Johannesburg on national roads. Road transfers from KMIA (Nelspruit), a scenic two-hour drive, and Skukuza (approx. 90 mins) can be arranged. Road transfers from Johannesburg are also available.
